The devil is known as the accuser of Brethren. In Revelation 12, Satan is called “the accuser of the brethren.” His accusations are designed to belittle you, offend you, and to lift you in pride at the same time. He’ll work to point out every little failure. He’ll accuse you of every fault, even when what you do what’s right. In Revelation 12:10b For the accuser of our brothers and sisters, who accuses them before our God day and night, has been hurled down.
In the book of Ezra the Accuser entered some of the neighboring nation who even wrote letters to the king Artaxerxes accusing the nation of Israel of various issues which led the building of the wall of Jerusalem to be stopped for sometimes. This is the work of the Devil., The so called accuser of brethren

in Ezra 4:23-24 we are informed that the work came t a complete stop because of those accusations.
23 As soon as the copy of the letter of King Artaxerxes was read to Rehum and Shimshai the secretary and their associates, they went immediately to the Jews in Jerusalem and compelled them by force to stop.24 Thus the work on the house of God in Jerusalem came to a standstill until the second year of the reign of Darius king of Persia.
Jesus is our High priest, our intercessor who goes before God and pleads on our behalf. This is shown by Haggai Joshua and Zerrubabel interceding on behalf of the building project. They interceded to the extent that the project was allowed to continue. They used Tattenai to write to Darius n order for the project to continue.
